Today, we are trying to use graphs to describe motion. They have to which graph is correct and which are wrong and why they are wrong.

I love this game. It's a great intro to interpreting d. vs t. graphs and v. vs t. graphs.   

The Last Few Days

The last few days we have been constructing cars and using algebra to predict when the cars will tie in a race. We use Video Physics and Graphical to figure out the speed of the cars. Then we use Ubersense to record the finish in slow motion.

It's car building day. It might be the first time some students have soldered .

We are learning how to use Video Physics and Graphical as well as exploring constant velocity graphs. 

I need to stop slacking with our blog

I apologize about the lack of posts for this new school year. We are playing with Hot Wheels to figure out what effects the speed of the car. We are also getting used to using the iPads. Our favorite apps are: Schoology, Notability, Video Physics, and Graphical. 

Notice our use of the textbooks. They are best used to prop up ramps and stop cars.
